For a successful remote ink/virtual closing, sellers and buyers only need access to an overnight mail carrier, blue ink pen(s), valid photo ID’s, secondary source of ID verification, and the internet. Alabama is a “wet ink” state, meaning all parties are required to physically sign documents that require notarization. This method of closing allows us to serve as your notary in a virtual setting – It’s as if we’re sitting together at the closing table, except we’re connecting through screens using video technology.
